Special Note:
As of January 1, 2017, Town and Village of Harrison residents are required to purchase an annual Yard Waste sticker for $5 per year to be able to use the composting site.For more information about the program, where to purchase stickers, and what is acceptable to compost, please visit the Village of Harrison's Website. For further information, please direct your questions to the Village Hall at (920) 989-1062.

While there are no municipal food composting sites in Calumet County, there are several yard waste collection sites. A list of the known yard waste collection sites in the county is provided below (acceptable materials and size restriction vary by location, so please contact your local yard waste collection site prior to dropping off materials)

There are a number of methods for producing finished compost at home, including hot composting, cool composting, and using red worms to eat food wastes.
